Sunligt Table loader.

At the Security Show, event held a few days ago in Tokyo, the Japanese firm Panasonic has unveiled one of his recent projects: a charging station a bit special.

The project takes the Japanese concept of inductive chargers but adapted to solar energy. It project is in the form of a table equipped with solar panels that use sunlight and converts it into electrical energy. Portable devices need not be connected to a port to load, simply because the energy transfer is wireless. The table does not need to be plugged into the mains. Simply place the equipment to be loaded on the table and voila. However, one condition is required: the devices must support technology Qi, a new standard for wireless charging technologies.

According to Panasonic, the table will come out either late 2011 or early 2012 for a still unknown price. Batteries of mobile phones supporting Panasonic Qi technology will also be sold in stride.
