A Windows phone.

Although current technology does not allow cell phones to make transparent, the idea inspired several designers and their concepts deserve attention. Among these concepts appears transparent Window Mobile Phone.

Window Phone (nothing to do with the Windows OS for smartphones) is a conceptual phone that looks simply a transparent window with its screen size and thin enough. Phone window was designed by designer Seunghan Song. All text is glass. Without physical button, it is 100% touch. Sunny, soaked by rain or even frosted in winter, this phone fear bear any climatic condition. Phone window provides a unique way of writing. By blowing the mist on the phone, we can write by hand by tracing with a finger.

Although the screens seem to be transparent to the agenda, we are still far from being able to create relatively small circuits that can be contained in the non-transparent cell. A concept to review a handful of years or more.

So what ? Ok, it's absolutely impossible to make. But, I love it.

Sunligt Table loader.

At the Security Show, event held a few days ago in Tokyo, the Japanese firm Panasonic has unveiled one of his recent projects: a charging station a bit special.

The project takes the Japanese concept of inductive chargers but adapted to solar energy. It project is in the form of a table equipped with solar panels that use sunlight and converts it into electrical energy. Portable devices need not be connected to a port to load, simply because the energy transfer is wireless. The table does not need to be plugged into the mains. Simply place the equipment to be loaded on the table and voila. However, one condition is required: the devices must support technology Qi, a new standard for wireless charging technologies.

According to Panasonic, the table will come out either late 2011 or early 2012 for a still unknown price. Batteries of mobile phones supporting Panasonic Qi technology will also be sold in stride.

Elfoid.

Not any post in the week. Erf.. Sorry. (6 badges ! )

A team of Japanese researchers announced that in a more or less close future, mobile phones will somehow be our own avatars. The team is formed by researchers at the ATR (Advanced Telecommunications Research) and Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro of Osaka University. Indeed, they have made a concept phone in the form of a humanoid. Elfoid named, this mobile phone has a head, face, torso and upper limbs. Equipped with a camera can reproduce Elfoid expressions of our faces. Its loudspeaker is in its head and an LED light is located at its torso. Elfoid is actually a miniature version of a humanoid who calls himself Telenoid R1.

The precursors of the project include the output of this phone in 5 years with more features. The goal is to take phone communication to a new dimension.

And speaking of Japan, I would like to take this opportunity to show them my full support. And, good luck guys.

Just a Sign.

Sign is a next-gen smartphone that has very little to do with existing phones. It is loaded with solar energy. It does not plug into a solar charger, you just expose it to sunlight so that the battery is charged at 80%. Sign has a decidedly mystical appearance. A priori,no visible screen or keyboard. In the end, just an opaque body with a concave lens anda back. In reality, it does have a screen but it only appears when it's active. The phone uses a transparent OLED display. The concave is a touchpad ergonomic visibly practice to navigate the phone menus.

This concept phone solar and mysterious is not yet ready to disembark. Most of the technologies it requires are not yet mastered at the moment.

Replay.

Eco friendly charger and wireless charger. We have already seen those concepts, now let's mix them !

This concept have two components: a device that captures energy from the windand another that charges the phone. You must install the first device on the glass of his window. It clings with its suction and magnets. It has two propellers that rotate under theaction of wind, creating mechanical energy. This energy is then converted into electricity.Recharging the phone battery is by induction, further highlight the concept. To do this, then put your phone on a platform serving as a charging station.

Aero E is the work of Designer Lance Cassidy.

By the way, seriously, I love pokémon (Why have they put the black legendary pokémon in the white version ? I don't get it...). I'm sorry, I keep on visiting your blog but currently, I'm addicted and I just can't get enough (haha). I'm thinking about writing a preview but I think I should finish it before. Moreover, I'm not sure my English is good enough to do such a thing (yes, Google Translate is my friend !). And regarding those who told me I should study.. don't worry, my exams were fine !

Here is an explanation about witricity (the system use in the previous post).

And now you know why iRing is.. a ring.

dimanche 6 mars 2011

Awesome and useless.

iRing is a small device the shape of a ring that connects the mobile phone, instead of the original charger. This done, place the phone on a table called yield surface fitted to certain establishments. This table transmits energy to the ring load the laptopimmediately. Everything is done wirelessly. Iring is not only compatible with mobilephones, it is also with computers and music players. The device is free, as well as the service.

It must ring this charger Powerkiss Finnish group. Iring was tested in the Finnish capitalHelsinki and will soon be available in 30 airports across the Europe.

I personaly find this stupid. In Europe, we have a cool thing, it's called the.. Europe. Since this year, all manufacturer (even Apple) have to use an "universal charger". In other words, all phone in Europe can be charged with a micro-usb cable. I don't know how it is in America, but to my mind, it make this things useless.
And yeah, the name is fucking lame.

Eco charger.

myFC society will market a new loader. It works with a fuel loader and it's carriageable. It has a fuell loader and an usb port, it's light (don't know the weight),  water-proof and ecofriendly since in order to have it to work, you just have to put in some water. The cell with use the hydrogen in the water to generate power. It's expected to become the new adventurer's fellow !

OK, there is an iPhone on the picture, but please, buy an Android !

Designer sucks at physics. But they are pretty cool ! 4 phone you will bend !

Do you know Readius ? It's a phone with a rollable. Screen. Yes, rollable. That way, it can have a very big screen in a very small phone : it's a phone, a pad and an ebook, but it hold in the palm of your hand.

Designer sucks at physics. This is a fact. But they have goodwill. In the "Eos", who is a 3 part bendable phone whith completete azerty keyboard, there are piezoelectric captor which load the battery when you use it. Every moment is converted in energy, and it enable the portable to never discharge. When I say designer sucks at physics...

I like this phone. It's a concept which win a contest of LG. It's a bendable phone which can be unfold into a headphone. It's cool. Very cool. And when you have a call, it change your brain into a microwave.. Say Thanks to Dr Hannibal !

This phone is pretty cool. The concept has been bought by Sony Ericsson, so it could be sold one day.. who know. Like other phone, it is bendable, but. It is composed of two screen, connected by a hinge, and can take many form. Since it will probably be commercialized, it's the more realistic phone of the list !

Nokia Morph

Someone told about it in comments. Since it's a beautiful project even if I doubt about it feasibility (I've studied materials), I think I could present it to you. Enjoy !

A little dreaming ?

Phillip Pearce, designer, show us a concept of phone which we will not see tomorow in sales. It's a phone that can be charged in only half an hour. He is sure we can expect this kind of battery to be created by NEC, with organic amterial. Moreover, it is a flexible phone, which make it almost unbreakable. It would be tactile and waterproof. Just a dream for us, but i suppose a designer life is.. a dream.

And.. I prefer my Droid 2. :D

Just for fun.

Love it.

Motorola and Xoom pad.

Although for a while adrift, Motorola is back in force with Android product. Its flagship product this year: the  Xoom pad, will arrive in Europe to the second quarter, in 3G/WiFi WiFi version. If this tablet of 10.1 inches for 1280 * 800 pixels resolution is promising, its price may be a serious brake on sales. It is expected around 700 to 800 euros. Yes, it's huge!

End and Begining

With the MWC just ended, this blog starts with a ton of information to absorb, the news are not so important during the year, so we'll take our time to analyze it all.

I would begin informed, however, as it should, with a bit of propaganda. Here is the phone that I chose, and the best in the World, ahead of the iPhone and other crap, I called the Motorola Milestone 2, also known as Droid 2!
